The title of the blog comes from my penchant for statically typed languages. I am of the camp that says the more meta information I have about an object, the less room for error I have in using that object. The feedback at compile time is just one of those things which helps me create code fast. However, just because I’m in love with static typing doesn’t mean I’m going to exclude discussions or code snippets from dynamically typed languages such as Python. There is a place for everything and everything has a place.
I started this website for several reasons not the least of which was to force me to put some of my ideas down on paper and perhaps get feedback from others outside of my company/developer groups/circle of friends. I know peer review has a profound impact on not only spreading new ideas but also improving them. I’m hoping to learn from this endeavor as much as possible.
